Catuma
Terms and Conditions
Version V1 — 1 October 2026
The promoter of this contest (the "Contest") is:
CATUMA SYNERGY HUB LTD
Registered in England and Wales, company number 15341120
Registered office: 28 Memorial Avenue, London E15 3BT
Correspondence address: 28 Memorial Avenue, London E15 3BT
Contact for Contest queries: play@catuma.uk.
In these terms and conditions (the "Terms"), "Catuma", "we", "us" and "our" mean the promoter named above, and "you" and "your" mean an entrant or participant.
By entering the Contest you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, and that you meet the eligibility requirements in clause 4.
These Terms, together with the entry details published on the Contest page, form the full rules of the Contest. Where there is any inconsistency, these Terms take precedence.
The Contest opens at 00:00:01 on 1 October 2026 and closes at 23:59:59 on 31 October 2026 (the "Closing Date"). All times are UK local time (BST until 25 October 2026, GMT thereafter).
A game is treated as played at the time it is completed and recorded on our servers. Only games completed and recorded within the Contest period will be eligible, regardless of when the game was started.
Any score achieved after the Closing Date will not be considered.
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 years or over at the date of entry.
The following are not eligible to enter:
We may require any entrant or potential winner to provide reasonable proof of age, identity and UK residence. We may disqualify any entrant who does not provide such proof within a reasonable period of being asked.
To enter the Contest you must, during the Contest period:
No purchase is necessary to enter and there is no cost to enter, other than any charges you may incur from your own internet service provider or mobile network operator in accessing the game. Entry is free and there is no alternative paid route of entry.
Entry is personal to you. Entries made on behalf of another person, or by an agent or third party, will not be accepted. Bulk, automated or syndicated entries will be disqualified.
You may play the game and enter as many times as you wish during the Contest period. However, each individual person may hold only one position in the final ranking and may win a maximum of one prize, regardless of how many times they play or how many email addresses they use. Where we reasonably believe that multiple email addresses have been used by the same person, we may treat all of those entries as belonging to that one person and may disqualify any or all of them.
You do not need to give us any personal details to play the game. You can play, and see your score and in-game statistics, without entering the Contest and without providing an email address.
Gameplay statistics - such as your score, accuracy and longest streak - are recorded from the moment you start playing. This is necessary to operate the game, to display your result and to determine Contest rankings, and is also used on an anonymised basis to improve our games, as described in clause 15.
You are only asked for an email address after you have finished a game and achieved a score, and only if you choose at that point to enter the Contest. That step is optional. If you do not complete the Contest entry form, your score will not be entered into the Contest and you will not be eligible to win the Prize.
The Contest is a contest of skill. Your score depends on your reaction speed, timing, accuracy and judgement during play. No element of the score is randomly allocated to a player.
The following in-game statistics are recorded for each completed game:
Each individual game you play is a separate performance. Where you play more than once, your single highest-scoring valid game will be used for the Contest, and the accuracy and longest pumpkin streak used for any tie-break will be those recorded in that same game.
Only scores that are successfully recorded on Catuma's servers at the time of play will be eligible. A score displayed on your device but not recorded on our servers (for example because of a connection failure, browser crash or ad blocker) will not qualify. Our game and server records are the official and conclusive record of all scores, accuracy figures and streaks.
Only scores achieved through normal gameplay on the official Catuma version of the game are eligible.
We may reject, invalidate or disqualify any score, entry or entrant where we reasonably believe that the score or entry has been obtained or attempted through:
Where we disqualify an entrant, all of that entrant's scores and entries may be invalidated. We may report suspected fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities.
There will be one winner, being the eligible participant who achieves the highest valid score during the Contest period.
Score is the primary and decisive criterion. Where two or more eligible participants achieve exactly the same highest score, the following tie-breakers will be applied in the following order until a single winner is identified:
For the avoidance of doubt, accuracy, streak and timing are used only to separate participants who are already exactly tied on score, and never override a higher score. The random selection at step 4 is a final fallback only and is not used to determine the outcome of the Contest in the ordinary course.
The judging criteria are objective and automated. Catuma's decision in relation to all matters concerning the Contest is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. This does not affect your statutory rights.
There is one prize: a Halloween-themed hamper (the "Prize").
Prize contents: Premium alcohol free hamper (hampers.com)
Approximate retail value: £95
The Prize is as described and is subject to availability. The Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable, and there is no cash or other alternative in whole or in part.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control make the advertised Prize or any part of it unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
The Prize will be delivered to a UK mainland address nominated by the winner, at our cost, within 30 days of the winner confirming their delivery details, unless we tell you otherwise.
The winner is responsible for any tax or other liability arising from acceptance of the Prize, and for obtaining any independent advice they need on that.
The winner will be determined within 7 days of the Closing Date.
We will notify the winner by email, using the email address supplied at entry. The winner must respond and provide the information we reasonably request (including confirmation of eligibility and a delivery address) within 7 days of the date of our first notification email.
We reserve the right to disqualify the winner and select the next-ranked eligible participant in accordance with clause 9 if the winner:
Any replacement winner will be determined using the same criteria and tie-break order set out in clause 9, and will have the same 7-day period in which to respond.
The Prize will be awarded within 30 days of the Closing Date wherever practicable. If that is not possible, we will publish the reason on the Contest page.
We will publish, or make available on request, the first name and county of the winner and the Prize won, so that it can be verified that the Prize has been awarded.
If you object to any or all of that information being published or made available, please tell us at the time of entry or when notified as a winner, using the contact address in clause 1. We will then provide the information only to the Advertising Standards Authority on request, and may ask you to provide alternative details for publication. Objecting to publication will not affect your chance of winning.
We will use reasonable efforts to keep the game available throughout the Contest period, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We are not responsible for entries or scores that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, not recorded or not received for any reason, including network, hardware, software, browser or internet failures.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms caused by events outside our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms, or to suspend, extend, shorten, modify or cancel the Contest, at any time where it is reasonably necessary to do so - for example because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, a technical fault, or suspected fraud or manipulation affecting the integrity of the Contest.
Where we do so, we will publish the change on the Contest page and, where we hold your email address and the change materially affects you, notify you by email. We will not do anything that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already entered in good faith.
Catuma is the data controller for the personal data you provide when entering the Contest.
What we collect: gameplay and performance data (score, accuracy, streak and similar in-game statistics) for everyone who plays, together with basic technical information about the device and browser used to play, so that the game renders correctly and so we can identify technical problems. We do not store IP addresses. If you choose to enter the Contest, we also collect your email address and link it to the gameplay data from your games. If you win, we collect the delivery and eligibility details needed to award the Prize. Where you play without entering, we do not ask you for, and you do not need to give us, any details that identify you.
Why we use it and our lawful basis: to administer the Contest, identify and verify the winner, award the Prize and keep records to demonstrate that the Contest was run fairly. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running and administering the Contest, and, where you have won, performance of our obligations to you.
Marketing: we will only use your email address to send you marketing if you have given separate, specific consent by ticking the marketing opt-in box at entry. Entry into the Contest is not conditional on giving that consent, and declining it will not affect your chance of winning. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
Sharing: we do not sell your personal data. We share it only with our service providers (such as hosting, email and delivery providers) acting on our instructions, and with the Advertising Standards Authority or other regulators where required.
Retention and deletion of identifying data: within one month of the Closing Date, we will permanently delete the personal data you provided when entering - your email address, your name, and any other information that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you, including any delivery or eligibility details supplied by the winner.
The only exceptions are:
Anonymised gameplay data: we keep gameplay and performance data - such as scores, accuracy, streaks, session length, difficulty progression and similar in-game statistics - on an anonymised basis for product development, analytics and improvement of our games, including after the Contest has ended and after your personal data has been deleted. We do not retain any key, identifier or other means of re-identifying it.
Anonymisation is carried out so that the data can no longer be linked back to you or to any identifiable individual, and we do not retain any key, identifier or other means of re-identifying it. Once anonymised in this way, the data is no longer personal data and is not subject to the rights set out below. We may retain and use anonymised gameplay data indefinitely.
Your rights: you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in clause 1. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Our full privacy notice is available at https://catuma.uk/privacy-policy.html and applies in addition to this clause.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the Contest or your acceptance or use of the Prize.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any of them.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Contest are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp., LinkedIn Corporation or any other social media platform. By entering, you release those platforms from any and all liability in connection with the Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints about the Contest must be directed to Catuma and not to the platform.
